Jean Renoir's masterpiece explores the relationships among 
three French POWs and with their German commandant during World 
War I.  This celebrated anti-war film also examines the bonds of 
brotherhood that transcend race, class, and nationality.  (French 
with English subtitles). 

Fri.	Oct 18	Truly, Madly, Deeply		26-100	7 & 10
Juliet Stevenson plays Nina, whose boyfriend (Alan Rickman) moves in
with her after he dies.  She is overjoyed at his return until his
dead, movie-buff friends start visiting and she starts wanting to live
again.

Sat.	Oct 19	Cyrano de Bergerac		26-100	6:30 & 10
The original nose, in the original French (with subtitles), the
original Cyrano (Gerard Depardeau) will make you laugh, cry, and
cheer.  Nominated for the Academy Award for Outstanding Foreign Film

When the moon is full, anything can happen.  And it does in this
acclaimed romantic comedy about the lives and loves of an extended
Italian-American family in Brooklyn.  Cher won the Academy Award as

and Olympia Dukakis.
