alchen (Alice Chen):

"Better not to seek that which can only disappoint. Here we
prefer to remember that which we most wanted and how it was to
	want it..."
"Better, surely, to continue looking for it?"
"Why so, sir, when the reality can only prove inadequate when
	compared against the hope?"

From THE FORTRESS OF THE PEARL
		By Michael Moorcock

A Limerick for Romania (by Bruce Lewis)

Hats off to you folks, and God bless you.
You surely have pulled off the best coup.
Though it's true that of late,
we have seen a whole spate,
it was tops when you toppled Ceaucescu.

--------
But we need some definite answers,
so I thought I would write you a poem.

jcbourne (Juliet C Bourne):

Are your eyes so tired of searching, that they can't see love
Is your heart so full of locks and keys that it can't open up
("Wonderland", Paul Young, _Between Two Fires_)
-----
How you gonna tell if it stands the test of time
There's no wishing well that comes true without the dime
("Remember Manhattan", Richard Marx)
-----
Companionship, partnership, mutual reassurance, someone to laugh with
and grieve with, loyalty that accepts foibles, someone to touch, someone
to hold your hand -- these things are "marriage," and sex is but the
icing on the cake. (Lazarus Long)

knoedler (Kevin C Knoedler):

My plan was very straightforward. I planned to take over the
world. Going city by city, country by country I was going to
gain control of all business and government. Once that was
accomplished I was going to make some major changes in the
world and get the human race into space. As you can see, I
obviously have not been very succesful with this plan. Problem
sets and other such time sinks seem to have been the major cause
of my failure. This is where you can help out. YOU can help to
save the world. If I had more time, I obviously would be very
successful at controlling and improving the world. So, all you
have to do to improve the world is to do my problem sets for me.
I think that sounds perfectly fair.

If you wish to volunteer for this mighty task or have comments on
my .plan or .project email me at: knoedler@athena.mit.edu

You're reaching deep inside of you
for things you did not know were there.
	Your microscopic radio,
	your high explosive underwear.
	In the CIA.
	In the CIA.
	Destabilizing governments, assassinating presidents.
Making contacts at the border, dying for the New World Order.
	In the CIA.
