One year down (almost....) and one to go.

Is there any work out there for a computer oriented first
year MBA?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
celine (Robert Fullmer):

Itinerary:

4/30 - 5/1: Work like a crazed yak on the two papers I have to finish before
             leaving town.

5/2 - 5/13: Hang out in Boston, go to Steer Roast, and generally make a
nuisance of myself (and get various programs to work better in
the MIT environment while I'm there).

5/14 - 5/20: Clean up my apartment (yecch), and pack up and send all my
worldly goods to either California or Boston. Work at OCIS
and set up the documentations people for the summer.

5/20 - 6/3: Hang out in Southern California, lying on Monarch Beach and
visiting with old friends. Play copious amounts of basketball.

5/22 - 5/24: Get a ride up to Berkeley and see a friend graduate, maybe?

6/3 - ?: Fly back out to Boston and (hopefully) start work. Anybody
know of a cheap way to get from Houston or California to Boston,
one way? Hitchhiking is probably too slow...

As a side note to those of you who I ztalked to about starting up a
Rice equivalent of the SIPB, things are rolling...

Mark Twain had some great quotes, but this one has got to be my favorite:

"Why is it that we rejoice at a birth and grieve at a funeral? It is
because we are not the person involved"
                        -- Mark Twain

What a cynic! I love it!

eichin (Mark W. Eichin):

from an earlier plan:
>> to go from a Phil Collins mood to an America mood, before I end up taking
>>refuge in a Roger Waters mood.
Never made it. I seem to have gone off into an Alan Parsons mood...

Well, I am now back from Magyar Koztarsasag (that's Hungary to you non-
Hungarian speaking-types). It was lots of fun. Now I'm trying to get back
into the swing of things here at good ol' MIT (and take full advantage of the
fact that I am now 21).

Also, as you may have noticed, I am not in the MIT phone book (the Registrar
finally figured out where I live). Here is the current info:

Quote of the Week: "We want the car to be so alluring it's almost sexual. We
want the owner to stroke and massage the thing because he loves the shape. On
the clay model, we worked hard on the C-pillar area to make it look wet and
juicy and ... excuse me." - Gerry Hirshberg of Nissan on the new Infiniti NY

jcbourne (Juliet C Bourne):

Cry / Come to me and cry / I know, I know, I know it's not easy
Your heart is aching / But so is mine, / How can I tell you / Why
For so long, so long, so long / I've been thinking / Now I know
I can't live a lie

They say true love lasts forever / If we want it / There will be waiting

A seocnd chance / Baby but now we need time / Time to learn
Time to understand / Where we went wrong / 'Cause I feel so strong
We are cruising for bruising / My baby

Go / I must let you go / Don't stop, don't stop
'Cause it's better now / When I still love you
Don't say goodbye...

So bye for now, don't let it die / 'Cause we can try some other time

therese (Suntioinen Therese M.):

So high above the world tonight,
	The angels watch us sleeping
And underneath a bridge of stars,
	We dream in safety's keeping
	But perhaps the dream
	Is dreaming us
	Soaring with the seagulls
	Perhaps the dream
	Is dreaming us
	Astride the backs of eagles
