amgreene (Andrew Marc Greene):

I could while away the hours, conferrin' with the flowers,
Consultin' with the rain.
And my head I'd be scratchin', while my thoughts were busy hatchin',
If I only had a brain.

I'd unravel every riddle for any individdle,
In trouble or in pain.
With the thoughts I'd be thinkin', I could be another Lincoln,
If I only had a brain.

Oh, I could tell you why the ocean's near the shore.
I could think of things I never thunk before.
And then I'd sit, and think some more.

I would not be just a nuffin', my head all full of stuffin',
My heart all full of pain.
I would dance and be merry; life would be a dingle-derry,
If I only had a brain.

bjaspan (Barr3y Jaspan):

@_ = (90470, 482466756, 285076, 95568296); eval ($hack = 's//($_-- >
0) ? ($perl++) && ($hack) : (print "$perl ") && ($perl = "a") && ($_ =
shift @_) && $hack/ee');

(Hint: You can't run this on any reasonable machine. Try using
smaller numbers.)

This upsets him long enough to let you make your second shot perfect.

MIT CENTER FOR SPACE RESEARCH Cambridge, MA

May, 1986 through December, 1987

Analyzed data that were gathered by two solar wind experiments onboard
the Giotto spacecraft on its fly by Halley's comet. Data from the High
Intensity Spectrometer (HIS) and the High Energy Range Spectrometer
(HERS) were studied to determine the chemical composition and velocity
distribution of the solar wind near the comet. Proficiency acquired in
computer modeling of experimental apparatus, programming in FORTRAN and
in C with the Sun Microsystems UNIX Operating System.

MIT SPECTROSCOPY LABORATORY Cambridge, MA

Assisted in the construction and testing of a photon counting system as
part of a time-resolved picosecond fluorescence spectroscopy experiment.
The experiment is currently being used to analyze biological tissue
samples as part of a larger project in the medical applications of
lasers.

jcbourne (Juliet C Bourne):

Oh, if they knew what is really going through her mind
Oh, how she dazzles triumphant, there's no competition...
But when not dreaming / She thinks her world will fall apart
There's no one there to love her / And quench this burning passion

We, ordinary people / Sometimes frightened a little
Hiding our secret hopes / Want an ordinary love / Need someone to hold

If they only knew / What's going through her mind
If they only knew / How lonely is her life
If only we could see / Through other people's eyes
We could understand each other's hearts

Oh, if they only knew what is really going through his mind
He is so helpless, his head in the sand, day-and-nightmares
But the crowd around him believes he has the power
To change the world, stop wars and hunger / Yet for his dreams no one cares

We, ordinary people / Sometimes frightened a little
Hiding our secret hopes / Want an ordinary love / Need someone to hold

mhbraun (Matthew H Braun):

Like the moment when the Brakes Lock,
And you slide toward the the big truck,
You stretch the fleating moments with your fear.
And you never hear their voices,
And you never see their faces,
You have no recourse to the law, anymore.

		As the windshield melts,
		And my tears evaporate,
		Leaving only charcoal to defend,
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.
		Ashes and diamonds,
		Foes and friends,
We were all equal in the end.
