enigma (W Christopher Dagnon):
I plan to live a long life, keeping falla happy
as long as the good Lord will allow me to, and
her, me. I love her so dearly that i am not sure that i shall
every want to return home, without her--of nothing can i be sure
after such a wonderful happenstance of our meeting each other.

a very good quote(s);
From: Lazarus Long <daemon> at VERNOR-VINGE.MIT.EDU
Touch is the most fundamental sense. A baby experiences it, all over,
before he is born and long before he learns to use sight, hearing, or
taste, and no human ever ceases to need it. Keep your children short
on pocket money- but long on hugs.
----
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion,
butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance
accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders,
give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new
problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight
efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.
----
Pessimist by policy, optimist by temperament- it is possible to be both. How?
By never taking an unecessary chance and by minimizing risks you can't avoid.
This permits you to play out the game happily, untroubled by the certainty of
the outcome.
----
All societies are based on rules to protect pregnant women and young
children. All else is surplusage, excrescence, adornment, luxury, or
folly which can- and must- be dumped in emergency to preserve this
prime function. As racial survival is the only universal morality, no
other basic is possible. Attempts to formulate a "perfect society" on
any foundation other than "Women and children first!" is not only
witless, it is automatically genocidal. Neverthelesss, starry-eyed
idealists (all of them male) have tried endlessly- and no doubt will
keep on trying.

At the still point of destruction

All the angels all the devils
All around us can't you see

Nothing will withstand...

tjwu (Thomas J Wu):
Justify My Love
I want to kiss you in Paris
I want to hold your hand in Rome
I want to run naked in a rainstorm
Make love in a train... cross-country.
You put this in me
So now what, so now what?
Wanting, needing, waiting
For you to justify my love.
Hoping, praying
For you to justify my love.
I want to know you
Not like that
I don't want to be your mother
I don't want to be your sister either
I just want to be your lover
I want to be your baby.
Kiss me... that's right, kiss me.
Wanting, needing, waiting
For you to justify my love.
Yearning, burning
For you to justify my love.
What are you gonna do?
What are you gonna do?
Talk to me.
Tell me your dreams.
Am I in them?
Tell me your fears.
Are you scared?
Tell me your stories.
I'm not afraid of who you are.
We can fly...
Poor is the man
Whose pleasures depend
On the permission of another.
Love me... that's right, love me.
I wanna be your baby.
Wanting, needing, waiting
For you to justify my love.
I'm open and ready
For you to justify my love.

So, did everybody watch Monday 3 December's edition of ABC's Nightline?
If not, shame on you. You missed quite a bit, although I doubt many
people fall into this category. Apparently, both Madonna and ABC
(esp. Nightline) win big in this particular case at MTV's expense.
What does everybody think of this? I don't think this meeting is
the best place for discussion, but then again, neither is Bogus_Thoughts.

tritan (Poseidon Neptune Triton):
The wonderful thing about Tiggers,
Is a Tigger's a wonderful thing.
Their tops are made out of rubber.
Their bottoms are made out of spring.
They're bouncy, flouncy, pouncy, trouncy;
Full of fun, fun, fun...
The most wonderful, wonderful thing about
Tiggers is I'm the only one.
I'm... the only one! Grrr...

It is my sacred duty to lower class-ave for everyone!
