THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
AND SPECIAL MARINE WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 145 AM EDT FOR
PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES
IN THE SOUTHEAST PART OF MASSACHUSETTS
PLYMOUTH...BRISTOL...DUKES
...THIS WARNING ALSO INCLUDES THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS FOR THE
COUNTIES JUST MENTIONED
AT 1240 PM EDT A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING INTO
SOUTHEASTERN MASSACHUSETTS. STRONG WINDS TO 65 MPH AND HEAVY RAIN
ACCOMPANY SOME OF THESE STORMS. TREES AND POWER LINES HAVE BEEN
KNOCKED DOWN AND ROOFS TORN OFF BUILDINGS.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
