Well, you'll all be happy to know that reliable rumor at BIX has it
that Wes will be going to the Academy in 7 or so episodes. Will
Weaton wants to continue his movie career (at the beginning of the
show he was about the most media experienced cast member). Perhaps
this is the episode for which they'll bring the Traveller back (he and
some other old faces will be returning in coming episodes).
I for one will be a little dissapointed: although he's obnoxious at
times (as I'm sure those of us with honest memories will remember
ourselves as being in times past), he's a worthwhile character; if you
doubt, just watch or remember "The Dauphin," or as I put it, "Wesley's
Alien Princess episode."
