I found your letter my mailbox today
You were just checking if I was OK
And if I miss you you know what they say-
Just once, in a very blue moon-
Just once, in a very blue moon.
Just once, in a very blue moon,
and I feel one coming on soon.
No need to tell me you'd like to be friends
That you'd like to help me get back on feet again
And if I miss you it's just now and then.
There's a blue moon, shining-
When I'm reminded of all we've been through.
Such a blue moon, shining-
Does it it ever shine down on you?
You act as if it never hurt you at all
Like I'm the only one who's getting up from a fall
Don't you remember, or can't you recall?
Just once, in a very blue moon-
Just once, in a very blue moon.
Just once, in a very blue moon,
and I feel one coming on soon.

Attention all USENet Mike Jittlov fans!
You've heard about it from one place or another, and thanks to the
good graces of Bruce Hamilton, I can bring this information directly
to all who are interested.
Introducing....FAnimato!
FAnimato! is the recently formed Mike Jittlov fan club, which was
officially announced at ARISIA. The membership of this club consists of
people who are interested in the films of master independent film-maker,
Mike Jittlov, and who are also interested in making contact with other
fans across the nation. FAnimato! publishes a quarterly (if all goes well)
newsletter, "From the Corner of Maltman...". People who collect, (or wish
to collect) his films, articles, and so forth, are encouraged to join, as
well as anyone who has been touched by this individual's special magic.
Memberships are being offered at a special $5/year rate until July 15th, when
they will revert to their normal $10/yr rate for new members (Renewals are
$5/yr). Those of you who have already sent $10 for a membership have been
registered for 2 years (since it is currently before July 15th).
In addition to providing an outlet for the tremendous fandom that exists
for Mike, FAnimato! encourages its members/supporters to bring to light
the work/plights of other independent film-makers. It the hope of this
organization that one of Mike Jittlov's subliminal messages, "Help Mike
Jittlov help us all!" will truly come to light. We strongly wish to shed
light on other unknowns who have messages as positive, and creative as
Mike's.
One other note about this fan organization. We encourage the participation of
our members in many areas. Some are helping with publishing, others with
writing and mailing, etc. One area that we would like to explore is direct
USENet access so that we can keep up to date with electronic lists such as
this one. If anyone can help us out in this respect (Maynard DEC people
please take notice/pity), then we would be most appreciative.
To apply for a membership, either complete the following form, make one of
your own, or send a SASE to the address listed below, and an application will
be mailed to you.

"I object to conscription the way a lobster objects to boiling
water: it may be his finest hour, but it's not his choice.
Nevertheless, I love my country. Yes, I do, despite propaganda all
through school about how patriotism is obsolete. One of my
great-grandfathers died at Gettysburg, and my father made the long
walk back from Chosen Reservoir, so I didn't buy this new idea. I
argued against it in class --- until it got me a `D' in Social
Studies, then I shut up and passed the course."
