marc, it's *hard* to research roommates. anybody he gives you as
a referee is not likely to respond "don't let that man in your
house; he's a junior nazi-in-training." this is the sort of
knowledge that (unfortunately) you don't find out until after
they move in.
i've had pretty bizarre roommates, including one who was a
stripper, hustler (read: rent boy), and featured in, uh,
"educational" movies when he wasn't engaged in his primary
profession (social work) ... i've never had anybody as bizarre
as you describe, though.
roommates are from another planet.
