alchen (Alice L Chen):

Right now, I can't think of anything to put in my .plan, so I guess this will just be a temporary .plan until I think of something. However, knowing me, this will probably end up being my real .plan!!! Anyway, here goes:

Hello! My name is Alice Chen, and I'm a very confused freshman at MIT. You can get in touch with my state of confusion by emailing me at alchen@athena.mit.edu. Even better, send me real mail! I LOVE real mail [hint hint]! My address and phone number at MIT is:

                  Alice Chen
                  McCormick Hall, Room 227
                  320 Memorial Drive
                  Cambridge, MA 02139
                  (617) 225-9108

If you want to, you can reach me at my home address during the summer:

                  3875 South 500 West
                  South Whitley, IN 46787
                  (219) 723-4766

Please ignore the following for now... I'm in the process of adding stuff to my .plan, and it's a tad messy now :(

           THE SWING OF THINGS

They say the world's an eventful place
You give me news
I don't want to know
You say that I should care
that I should speak my mind

Oh, but how can I speak of the world
 rushing by
With a lump in my throat
and tears in my eyes
Have we come to the point of no turning back
or is it still time to get into
the swing of things

Let us walk through this windless city
I'll go on till the winter gets me\
"Sleep ..." you wrote "sleep my dear"
in a letter somewhere

Oh, but how can I sleep with your voice in my head
and an ocean between us
and room in my bed
Have I come to the point where i'm losing my grip
or is it still time to get into
the swing of things

When she glows in the dark
and I'm weak by the sight
of this breathtaking beauty
in which i can hide
There is a worldful out there
of people i fear
but given time i'll get into
the swing of things

Yes, when she glows in the dark and i'm struck by the sight
I know that i'll need this for the rest of my life

What have i done
What lies i have told
I've played games with the ones that rescued my soul
Have i come to the point where i'm losing the grip
or is it still time to get into
the swing of things

celine (Who Drugged Thumper?):

"Terence, this is stupid stuff:
You eat your victuals fast enough;
There can't be much amiss, 'tis clear,
To see the rate you drink your beer.
But oh, good Lord, the verse you make,
It gives a chap the belly-ache.
The cow, the old cow, she is dead;
It sleeps well the horned head:
We poor lads, 'tis our turn now
To hear such tunes as killed the cow.
Pretty friendship 'tis to rhyme
Your friends to death before their time.
Moping, melancholy mad:
Come, pipe a tune to dance to, lad."

dschmidt (Dan Schmidt):

My baby was talking in her sleep
She said "Bob"
I said "What"
She said "Bob"
I said "I'm Bob"
She said "No, I mean a different Bob"

So I asked her the next day
I said "Jane"
She said "What"
I said "Who's Bob?"
She said "You're Bob"
I said "No, I mean a different Bob"

My baby was run over by a car
It was a Dodge
As she lay dying
She called for Bob
I took her hand and said "I'm here"
She said "No, I mean a different Bob"

"Rabbit's clever," said Pooh thoughtfully.

"Yes," said Piglet, "Rabbit's clever."

"And he has Brain."

"Yes," said Piglet, "Rabbit has Brain."

There was a long silence.

"I suppose," said Pooh, "that that's why he never
understands anything."
