Today I decided to do an extended test of my latest Fishbowl Parallax
board program. It allows one to watch full screen, high quality
television images on the workstations (obviously, this isn't a project
that Athena would hire me to do :-) ). Using this program in the
daytime, on the workstation in the front of the room, turned out to be
a great way to draw a crowd. Twice in a half hour a tour group ringed
around the glass beside me. I felt there should be a sign around -
"HACKERUS ATHENUS" (whatever happened to all the Fishbowl
decoration?). It was slightly embarrassing to have 25 people stare at
me as I watched _Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles_.
Oh well. That's why it's called The Fishbowl.
