  ... takes 2 hours to run ...

  ... produces a 17 MEG .log file ...

Turns out I had left \tracingmacros=2\tracingcommands=2 in my
dblib file, and had 7200 iterations (mostly tail-recursion)
of my main loop.  

Oops.

I *hate* it when that happens....

(Oh, John, I've freed up 17 Meg on priam.... :-)
