Actually, cyanide-laced grapes (at least in this instance) would\
give people a bad tummyache and cripple the Chilean economy.
Guns don't kill people. Impact with high-velocity bullets
kills people.
I'm not saying we should abolish all guns, just that we shouldn't
consider them any more special than any other item. "Shall not
be abridged," indeed. Why doesn't this protection extend to
telephones or televisions, which are certainly as potent weapons
in today's information age for overthrowing a government (pardon
my grammar) which is why there is a Second Amendment at all.
I would suggest moving this discussion out of ca if we're going
to continue it and into a more appropriate forum. Err seems
reasonable. (Or would that drive jamarroq crazy? :-)
