So, I'm watchin' my TV and thinkin' to myself, boy, it must be getting to
be the Holidays time o' year, since that really annoying "Clapper"
commercial gets played every five miunutes...
But then I thinks, geez, maybe it'd be nice to have me one o' them
doohickeys, since I too falls ta sleep with the TV on just like that little
old lady on the commercial, and wouldn't it be nice to wake up in the middle
o' the night and just claps my hands and the TV shuts off, ya know?
So, I goes to my favorite nearby Woolworths store (where, by the way, they
gots lots of other really good stuff like that Chia Pet that I got on my
windowsill) and I buy me one and take it home and plug my TV into it.
So, I'm watchin' TV and feelin' pretty smug about myself and my brand-new
Clapper, and then that commercial comes on the TV, and they're singing
about the Clapper and they demonstrate it by clappin' their hands while
they're singing the jingle, and it shuts my TV off!
Ooh, I hate when that happens!
