On another note, I have finally transcribed _He Didn't Go To Canada_,
a short satire by Garrison Keillor, into my directory. The piece is
from the November 7 _The New Yorker_ and parodies the Vietnam War
activities of our future Vice President (which still seems a weird
title for him).
Some of you may find this work to be offensive. I showed it to the
former president of the Republican Club, and he felt just so about it,
although he did appreciate some of the humor. I *am* conservative,
but I wasn't offended by the article. At least give it a try, even if
you are *really* intent on protecting Quayle's honor.
