I never really cared to calm you down (knowing that your present condition
renders the very idea absurd). However, we (humans) have a tendency when
the world (specifically, important parts) comes crashing down on us, to look
at everything from an extremely biased and unreasonable position. Though it
might (rather, you think it might) be in your best interests if total entropy
(read: destruction) were to spontaneously occur, assuming human lives of equal
value, the situation for the world in general would be worse.
Then again, since nothing has anything but transitory significange anyway...
