The Thompson Elementary School in Arlington, where my son goes, has a chess
club full of enthusiastic kids being run by someone who barely knows the
rules. She would love to have a real chess jock who could help organize
the club and teach real strategy to the kids. The kids range from K-5th
grade, mostly 2nd and 5th graders.
The club meets approximately every other monday from 4 to 5 pm in East
Arlington. You can reach the school easily by T. There is a big break in
the schedule during December and January.
If anyone would like a really fun, volunteer opportunity with cute kids let
me know :)
