The Red Cross will be holding a blood drive at MIT on July 12th, 13th
and 14th, in La Sala on the second floor of the Student Center. By
giving blood or by volunteering your time at the blood drive, you can
help save lives. The dates and times are:

	Monday, July 12, 1999 12 noon - 6 pm
	Tuesday July 13, 1999 12 noon - 6 pm
	Wednesday, July 14, 1999 12 noon - 6 pm

Please visit http://web.mit.edu/blood-drive/www/ or call Sarah at
(800) 462-9400 x2031 to make an appointment, or if you have questions.

Note: This is a different URL than the one we have used in the past.
Please update your bookmarks if you have the old URL.

The Red Cross relies on appointments to decide how many staff to
provide on a given day. Making appointments will decrease your wait,
and make the drive run faster as a whole. However, if you are unable
to make an appointment, please come to the drive and donate blood
anyway.

Even if you are unable to donate blood, by volunteering your time you
can provide valuable assistance to the Red Cross's efforts. Some of
the services that volunteers may perform are advertising the drive,
registering donors, staffing the canteen, and providing moral support
to the donors. All these efforts are important to the drive's
success. To volunteer, send e-mail to <bd-volunteers-request@mit.edu>
