So, here's the calendar of fall events, from the joint execcomm
meeting the week before last. It will reappear in the minutes
from that meeting as soon as I type up the minutes (read: finish
wrestling with the #@*&%!! five different templates for minutes),
and in the WUAPO too.
I don't know how tentative/final this is, but I'd imagine
speaking up about any real problems you have with it would
be a good idea.
Aug 25 Frosh arrive
Aug 31 Activities Midway
Sept 7 Reg Day
Sept 6-10 Book Exchange
Sept 25 Pledge Article Meal
Oct 2 Steak Fry
Oct 8 Chapter weekend I (that's a 3-day weekend)
(the big/little study break will be during CWI)
Oct 22 Semi-Formal Formal
Oct 25-27 UMOC
Nov 5-7 Conclave
Nov 11 Veteran's Day (we get off)
Nov 12,13 Chapter weekend II (hopefully pledge-run)
Nov 17 Drop Date
Nov 20 Initiation
Nov 25,26 Thanksgiving break
Dec 9 Last day of classes
Dec 10 I-Banquet
Dec 13,17 Finals
It looks like chapter and execcomm meetings will probably be
on Wednesdays at 7:30pm, based on the feedback I've gotten,
but there's still the chance it could be Tuesdays, so speak
up if you have an opinion!
Pledge ceremonies will probably be Sept 8, 10, 16, and 21,
but those dates are more meant to mark the right week than the
right actual day.
If anyone has this written down differently, or otherwise objects
to my rendering of it, tell me. :-)
