A while back, there was a meeting to discuss the parameters for associate
membership (a membership with less responsibilities and less priviledges
intend to lure people from being totally inactive and/or paper active).
The parameters were tweaked by exec-comm and then referred to the rules
committee to be worked on and written up. We'll be having that meeting
some time in the next two weeks. This notice is so that people who are
interested can let me know when they could make it. So write back if
you want to be involved.....
