Greetings brothers!
The Pledge Project is happening on April 10. It consists of surveying retail
stores, restaurants and other businesses along Boylston and Newbury Streets
in Boston's Back Bay. These places have volunteered to be surveyed so that
they will know if their accessibility complies with the American Disabilities
Act. The project starts at 9am with a one to one and a half hour training
session on MIT grounds (probably in the Student Center, more will be posted).
From there, we will take a bus (bring the fare, as well as a lunch or lunch
money) to the surveying site. The surveying and a meeting afterward will take
until 3pm. THERE IS ONLY ONE SHIFT: 9AM-3PM. YOU MUST BE ON TIME AND FOR THE
FULL 6 HOURS. If you have not been contacted yet by phone, please respond to
this message and send your RSVP to apo-pledges@athena.mit.edu, saying whether
you can come and whether you want a wake-up call.
Thank you,
Henning
P.S. The T on the T study break is on TUESDAY, APRIL 13. Come and talk to
pledges and fellow brothers. Just take a break. We will meet at 9pm on the
Inbound side of the Kendall T Station. PLEASE RSVP TO henning@athena.mit.edu
AND TELL ME WHETHER YOU WILL COME. Also, if you know of a place where I can
get scones, please tell me in your message.
