Okay... as of 2pm this afternoon, APO.MIT.EDU will be going down (and
away) for testing.  If something is proveably broken, I will try to get
replacement parts (as it is still under warranty).

I would appriciate all information that anyone has on the functioning
(or lack thereof) of the machine.  I will transmit this data to any
interested parties (to avoid overuse of apo-news).  Currently my list
of interested parties is {apo-sysadmins, sly, peace}
