As of late last night/early this am, there is strong evidence that apo
has a HW bug that is electrically eating HW, starting with the 3C905B TX
network card recently installed. In the opinion of myself and people in
SIPB with clue, we should stop using apo and replace it ASAP. As much
as I was worried about this beforehand, the evidence was not overwhelming
until last night. I Suggest:
1. We stop using the HW immediately.
2. We test our hard disk in another host to make sure we haven't
lost data.
3. We add an item on the next Chapter Meeting's agenda to discuss
the replacing of apo. I'll have responsible suggestionsm ready.
