Many thanks to those who came to the food bank today. It was
a little disconcerting having to change plans at the last minute
after Braille Press cancelled, but it turned out food bank really
needed us (we supplied 9 of the 12 volunteers they had to run
that day and would have had to skip that afternoon entirely
without us). It was good to see the brotherhood able to mobilize
when we were needed. For the information of future PCs, Kelly(sp?)
is a great person to talk to about planning things there (probably
better then their official 'volunteer coordinator').
In attendance were:
Melissa, Victoria, Ian, Ellen, and myself, and prospectives
Ann Marie, Catherine, Marisa, and Nitin.
As usual they kept us busy and food bank is a nice project
because there's almost always more work then we can do.
