So to fulfill our goal at CPPC and at the request of the President and
others, the Rules Committee will be holding a special
meeting/brainstorming session next week to discuss possible changes to
our officer structure. These discussions will include (but not be
limitted to) rearranging commitees to as to give specific positions
within them (as recommended by Yale), the possible creation of a
'skills manager' to handle chapter skills (or the assignment of that
duty to elsewhere) , and the definition (or changing) of the duties of
the MVP (which are currently not even vaguelly what the bylaws
specify). Other ideas are of course welcome. The purpose of the
meeting will be to generate recommendations on general ideas for the
chapter and execcom to consider -- NOT to do bylaw hacking. If we
come up with something that the chapter wants to implement, there will
be a separate meeting later to figure out the details of how to
implement it....
If you are interested in how the chapter operated and wish to come,
please email me with what times next week you would be available (and
your prefereces). I'll take as many of them into account as possible.
yiLFS,
The Sargeant at Arms :)
