Upcoming blood drive at MIT, January 13th and 14th

The Red Cross will be holding a Blood drive at MIT on Wednesday
January 13th and Thursday the 14th. The drive will run from 9AM until
2:45PM both days, and will be held in La Sala, on the 2nd floor of the
student center.
The Red Cross relies on appointments to decide how many staff to
provide on a given day. Making appointments will decrease your wait,
and make the drive run faster as a whole. Even if you can tell only
on what day you will donate, if not the exact time, that will help the
Red Cross prepare for the drive. You can make an appointment at
http://web.mit.edu/aongg/www/blooddrive.html, or just come as a
walk-in.
Even if you are unable to donate blood, by volunteering your time you
can provide valuable assistance to the Red Cross's efforts. Some of
the services that volunteers may perform are advertising the drive,
registering donors, staffing the canteen, and providing moral support
to the donors. All these efforts are important to the drive's
