Pledge term (as well as not pledge term) is drawing to a close...
... here's a few more opportunities for PC'ships, and a few more
projects to go on. This is a summary of upcoming events; new ones
are starred. Please keep track of this summary. :)
Saturday, October 31
Jamie is PC'ing the trip to Georges' Island for Halloween. Attendees
still needed - contact her if you are interested in
going. (jamie@alum)
*** Saturday, November 7, afternoon. ***
We will be helping out at the Greater Boston Food Bank. (For those
of you who went on the second open project, same deal. Quite cool.)
Around 10 people are needed - please contact me if you want to go,
or PC.
Sunday, November 8, morning/early afternoon.
Victoria (vkanders@mit) is PC'ing a trip to Rosie's Place to serve
lunch. Around 5 people are needed - contact her if you want to go.

*** Saturday, November 21, morning. ***
SPLASH is a program for high-schoolers, allowing them to learn about
areas they would not normally. They'll need a few bodies to help with
registration... PC and attendees needed.
*** Sunday, November 22, afternoon. ***
CRISIS is a political simulation for high-school students (part of
SPLASH). Yale (our advisor) is the Generally Omnipotent Dictator; here
is his blurb:
CRISIS needs about five to six people minimally; if I had more, I would
probably be able to use them (up to around 10, after which it gets harder-
unless I can insert some brothers as participants...). In particular, I'm
looking for people to staff the Military Assessment desk and police the
"penalty box," where wayward participants will be sent to mend their ways. I
will send an article to Emily about this for the next APOC.
We need a PC and attendees.

We will (most likely) be working at the National Braille Press, date TBD.
Additionally, we will be volunteering for New Hampshire's public
television station.
These will be most of the service projects for the term... so you want
to go to some of these. RSVP to me, or the PC's, or me if you want to
PC. (Everyone should PC *something*... :) )
