APO goes to George's Island every year to help with their
haunted house. Typically we have at least one area to
ourselves to haunt. As if scaring small children weren't
enough to recommend this project, last year the area we
got was the ``torture chamber''. Apparently the organizers
had remembered us from the year before, since they warned us
at the beginning not to break the whips this year. That
particular warning didn't quite work, though {\tt =)}.
It's a fun project. Sign up. You know you want to!
What: George's Island Halloween Trip
When: October 31, 1998
What time: 7:59 AM
Bring: If you have a costume of any sort, bring it. You may also
want snacks and something to drink, and be sure to take a jacket. Last
year they provided lunch, but you may want to bring something extra to eat.
Where: Meet inside the turnstyles by the token person at the inbound side of
the Kendall Square T stop by 7:59 am. If you are not there, we are getting
on the T without you. Aim for 7:45 am if you are chronically late. We
are catching a boat and the boat could care less if it leaves without you.
If you would like a wake-up call, you can email me your name, phone
number where you would like the wake-up call and what time you would
like the wake-up call. Please no wake-up calls before 6:30 am.
There will be a sign-up sheet in the office sometime very soon...Sat. at
the latest. You can also email me at jamie@alum.mit.edu if you're
coming and are unable to put your name on the sign up sheet.
So sign up now or I will be personally insulted that you aren't
interested in this super-cool project I have taken time out of my busy
schedule to PC. (I working on the Jewish guilt-trip thing.)
