Minutes of Chapter Meeting, Oct. 7, 1998

Ellen Kranzer, Ira, Yale, Cathy, mrn, Carla Moran, Ari, Emily, Brad, Brian,
Steve Wadlow, Carolyn, Barbara Manganis, Falling.
National Service Week:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Carla Moran gives a brief presentation on National Service Week. The
week is Nov. 2nd - 8th; the theme this year is "Combating Domestic
Violence and Sexual Assault." We may work in coordination with the
chapter at WPI.
Committee reports:

Nationals (Carolyn): If you are at all interested in going to Nationals
or staying in my house, please let me know now. If money is a problem,
see Ann-Marie.
Conclave (Ann-Marie): Currently, no one from AX is registered for
Conclave - if you sign up now, they will waive the late fee.
(No one decides to register during the meeting.)
Officers' reports:

President (Ann-Marie): We have new shelves on the far wall, in spite
of its great strength. Office renovations are not yet complete;
please help out when you can. Tonight is the first mold chat night
for the AXcoAPO files update. There will be another on the afternoon
of the 18th.
SVP (Cathy): Please sign up for Chapter Weekend I. The next weekend is
CPPC at Camp Resolute. The weekend following has two projects:
volunteering at WBUR, and haunting the Big Dig.
FC (Brad): By popular demand, there will be trail work at Chapter
Weekend. Barbara is getting married on the weekend, and will provide
us with dinner on Friday night. Stir Fry is on October 24th. I've
scheduled a dinner trip before the meeting two weeks from now, and
plan to have a dinner trip on a different day each week.
MVP (Brian): Most of my report is in my recent email. We currently
have 10 pledges, soon to be 11. If you're interested in being a big
brother, email me.
ASC (Ari): Nothing to report.
Treasurer (Oscar): (Via email): No Report.
PubDir (Katie): Drop poster receipts will be in the office tomorrow.
APOcEd (Emily): I'll make the Apoc on Friday. By tomorrow night I need
your articles. Do not steal the milk crate that I put Apocs in.
Someone recently deleted two archived issues from the locker.
Do not do that.
AVP (Michael): Please ask me before making any changes to the database.
