One last email, two soon-upcoming fellowship events:
1) This Friday, game time at 7pm: Anne-Marie still has one ticket left
for the Red Sox game, and can get more if more people want to go. I
hate watching games live, but with a whole row blocked off for
AXcoAPO, heck, I had to go to see if it is as much fun as the not-NHL
league pro game I went to with two friends from hi skool, perhaps 10
years ago: we started the wave a couple times, and led the entire
stadium into "Buulllll-$#iiiit" chants when the refs made bad calls.
Great fun, you'll like it; my two friends and I were, and still are,
far, far, far from the annoying, beer-guzzling, overweight, obnoxious,
immature typical sports fans. But it was sure fun to be obnoxious for
one night...
Email annmarie so she can reserve spots for you.
2) Monday evening, leaving the office about 5:45pm: Birthday dinner
and games for Harry Tsai, mold and ex-president (I believe). At
Chuck-E-Cheese somewhere not near campus. Come watch a really nice
and rather softspoken guy dance the night away with a giant rat.
Great fun and at least OK pizza to be had by all....
Email cmcoury so she can once again up the count on the
reservation, we're well over the original 12 she asked for. She's
even got a confirmation # for the reservation, something I've not seen
except for rental cars and hotel rooms--that must mean it will be a
great party! Or maybe it just means they overpay the guy in the
ratsuit, who knows.
