Does anybody have address or phone # for Arlington Food Bank. I would like
to know how to get there.
The Arlington Food Bank is located at the Church of Our Saviour in East
Arlington. See the following URL for directions and a map:
http://world.std.com/~saviour/directions.html
Here's the quick version of how to get there:
Church of Our Saviour
21 Marathon St., Arlington, MA 02174
By Car
======
Church of Our Saviour is located in East Arlington, not far from the
intersection of the Cambridge, Somerville and Arlington town lines. The
church is located on Marathon Street, which is a one-way street running
from Massachusetts Avenue to Broadway.
From Cambridge, head up Massachusetts Avenue until you cross route
16. Continue up Mass. Ave. past 2-3 blocks after the first stop light,
and turn right onto Marathon St. There is an Audiosonic store on the far
corner.
By Public Transportation
========================
From Harvard or Porter Sq, take the #77 bus out to Arlington. After the
bus crosses Route 16 on Mass Ave, take the first or second stop after
the stop light. (See the car instructions above for more landmarks.)
