Hello.
On April 24, 1993, the MIT Initiative for the Homeless will be
sponsoring Carnaval* '93, a picnic and festival for the homeless and hungry
families of Boston. Preparations and closings will begin at sunrise and end atmidnight. The festival activities will consist of food, games and
entertainment. There will be lunches and dinners served by volunteer
representatives of MITIH. The carnival game booths will grant as prizes the
clothing, household appliances, and toys donated by MIT and Boston area
organizations and businesses to MITIH. There will be live performances by MIT
and other Boston area groups. All activities are free.
In order to make this happen, we need volunteer workers and entertainers,
photographers, speakers and donations. We need them from now until April 25th. If you
would like to join our active initiative, please leave a message stating your na
