Several people have asked for directions to the battle. A car will
be leaving from the office at 2:30 for those who wish to go with the
main attach force.

How to get to the George Sherman Union frm MIT
PLANES:
Leave Logon Airport. Land at Logan Airport. Take the shuttle bus to the
blue line. Take the blue line inbound to the green line. Switch at
Government Ctr. Take the B train outbound till you reach BU Central. Get
out of the T, walk across the street (away from the Radio shack and CVS),
and walk to the left. The cars should be one your left, and a big
sandstone building on your right. When you get to a building that says
George Sherman Union, you're almost there. Walk past the glass doors, and
teh central "quad" area. Pass the only patch of grass on the BU campus.
There will be a concrete stairwell leading downstairs. Go down them.
Walk all the way down the corridor. Turn left at the hallway marked "Get
the Point!" Walk past the steel counter, and we are in that tiny corridor
in front of you. Second door on the left.
TRAINS:
Take the Red Line to Park Street and switch to an outbound B line Green
train. Take the Green line to BU Central. Follow above directions.
AUTOMOBILES:
Drive over the Mass Ave. Bridge towards Boston. Make your first right
onto Beacon Street. After two lights, there will be a big building in
the middle of the road marked Boston University and the road will
fork around it. Bear to the right of the building. This is Bay State
Road. An excellant parking street, especially on unmetered sundays. Get
as close to the end of the street as you can (three or four blocks) and
park! Get out and walk one street to your left. This is Commonwealth
Ave. Also good for metered parking if you're lucky enough to score it.
Walk down Commonwealth Ave with the street to your left, and the big
buildings to your right. When you get to the George Sherman Union, follow
above directions.
Walking:
Either follow automobile route, or walk over BU Bridge. Turn left on
Commonwealth Ave. The George Sherman Union is two buildings up on your
left. The stairwell leading to the basement is immediately after the
glass doors leading into the food court. Walk downstairs and follow above
directions.
SkiJet:
Cross the Charles. Park. Get out. Find the union on your own, damn it!
Scooter:
Following either automobile or walking directions.
Golf Cart:
Follow automobile directions.
Broom stick:
Follow Skijet directions.
