The 1994 APO National Convention site has been changed from San Antonio to
Dallas.
Apparently, the hotels in San Antonio withdrew their bids in favor of
taking on other business. The hotels in Nashville (the other city that bid
for the convention) were either no longer available or did not meet APO's
convention requirements. Dallas has been a 'back up' site to San Antonio
through most of the bid process as the chapters in Texas investigated
possibilities in both cities before they decided to put forward San Antonio
at the convention.
