New Homeless Shelter Fundraiser!!!!!

Did you know that a homeless person in Cambridge can be given food and shelter
for a day for just $0.89? Neither did I. I'll bet most people don't. So
here's what we're going to do. We're going to have a booth in lobby 10 next
Tuesday and Wednesday for the first ever APO Cambridge/Boston Homeless Shelter
Annual Fundraiser. We'll have a big splufty sign showing a map of the Boston/
Cambridge area, where the shelters are that we work with, and how much it
costs each of them to take care of someone for a day. We'll take
contributions from people walking by, let them choose which shelter to
donate it to, and get their names and campus addresses so we can send
them a thank you note with how many person/days total were contributed
to their shelter of choise.
So, I need help. Really badly. I'll be making the calls to shelters
we don't already have info for the rest of this week. I need:
1) a publicity sub-pc to help make the splufty sign and smaller signs
to poster around campus (some measure of drawing or computer graphics
ability would be cool. just not being as scared of pictures as me is all
that's really required).
2) a manpower sub-pc to help get people for two days.
We've never done this before, so creativity and suggestions would be a very
good thing.
Please let me know ASAP if you think it's a cool idea and/or can
help.
