Hi.

Tomorrow people are meeting at APO at 1pm to go hiking. There will be
snow on the ground tomorrow afternoon, and the high temperature will
be in the 30s. So, dress warm and avoid cotton (which gets cold and
wet easily) if possible. Here are some things to think about bringing
(stolen from somebody's MITOC recommendations):
	hat
	long underwear
	warm clothes and warm socks
	sweatshirt or sweater
	jacket
	warm mittens/gloves
boots (hiking in sneakers on ice and snow would just suck)
2 liters of warm water (so it doesn't freeze)
~1000-2000 calories of food (hiking is hungry work)
flashlight (probably unnecessary unless we're out longer than expected)
	backpack to carry stuff in
Other things you might want: lipblock, swiss army knife, sunglasses,
camera, compass. People should probably eat lunch before leaving.
Good food type things to bring are cheese, chocolate, gorp (Good Old
Raisins & Peanuts), dried fruit, etc. Don't bring anything that might
be inedible if gets cold (like powerbars).

YiLFS,
+ Richard
