Brian,
Hey, Buffy was *cute*. I'm not sure I heard a word anyone
said in that movie, but it was great.
Um, right. My real message: Tang is where I live. I've been
meaning to throw a housewarming party, oh, for the last -um... almost
two months, and heck, it sounds like I'll have a captive audience this
Saturday. I'll provide some version of my own free food (hopefully
apple pies!! Eat them apples!!) and perhaps even some entertainment,
although that's doubtful.
So I don't mean to detract from SFF, but rather to encourage
more to come, and to give y'all an interesting, if short, break from
dancing etc for a few minutes. The view from my suite windows (18th
floor) only looks over campus and Cambridge, so it's not as nice as
the 24th floor lounge, but worth seeing, and then y'all'll know where
I live and how much I like to build things like desks, shelves, beds,
and rollerblade stuff, and how pretty my Christmas Cactus looks in
bloom (perhaps it is only a halloween cactus, but it is still a pretty
pink and green).
Oh, and a free plant to the first person to show up and say
they want one.
This means that those LAME-O's of you *cough*Lan*cough* who
are planning on NOT going to SFF, now you have another reason to
come. For example, I would be most insulted if my own Big didn't
*ahem*Lan*cough* even show up. *hm*LastNameChang*sputter*. Sorry, my
keyboard keeps trying to clear its throat. Dunno what's wrong with
it.
So, see you on Saturday! I'll look rather different than usual to
most of you, probably, in the two semi-formal suits I plan on
wearing. But I will be at SFF!!! Fun fun!
