Hi Kids!
It's the Happy-Go-Lucky Carnival Militia Chair here! (Incidentally, militia
chair is a fancy term for manpower pc...) We have LOTS OF STUFF for you to
go to regarding Carnival. PLEASE come into the
office to sign up for stuff. If you _have_ to reply via e-mail instead of
in person, please be sure to reply to me here at psyche.mit.edu...
Upcoming Events:
Publicity Stuff---Melissa has a whole bunch of things that need doing. She
will send out her own mail, but be prepared to dedicate time over the long
weekend and during the week.
Lobby 10 Booth--For Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of next week (that's the
23rd-25th of April...), we will have a Spring-Weekend/Carnival booth
to man where we will be giving out free stuff. The free stuff includes:
cups, kazoos and helium balloons. There is a sign-up sheet in the office,
with two slots per hour. There will be a way of training newcomers
to the art of balloon inflation. So, PLEASE sign up.
Carnival Itself--All day long on the 26th (Saturday). Set-up starts by 9,
the event is from 12-6, and then there is clean-up. PLEASE come into the office
to modify the sign-up sheet so that I know for sure for how long you intend to work it
(BTW, if you don't say "all day long, mistress militia chair!" then I'll
have to start breaking knuckles...)
Dexion--There will also be a merry dexion party at some point. Stay tuned
for details!
