ANNOUNCING:
The Big Brother/Little Brother Study Break Spring '97
WHERE: APOffice
WHEN: 7pm
WHY: to meet people
WHAT: Food, Fun,and Friends
BB/LB Study Break is an event to which pledges and brothers come to
meet one another and possibly hook up brothers and pledges as Big Brother/
Little Brother pairs.
We will be starting with a sort of "Pass the Candle" thingy which has
become semi-traditional [can't be traditional. I was around for the
third one. =-) ]. The idea of this, for those of you who've never seen one,
is to talk a little about APO: why you joined, why you're interested, what
you like. Nobody will be required to participate, but everyone is encouraged
to listen. The reason I wanted to include it here was so that people could get
a feel for what people in APO, both brothers and pledges, are interested in.
Afterward, around 7:30 or so I guess, we'll have random games and food
and stuff. It'll run for a while. About 2-3 hours overall. You need only
stay as long as you can, but you are encourged to stay as long as possible.
