Administrative notes:

This is Ari taking minutes for nostalgia value. Enjoy and eat lots of
pasta. also, this execcom is more informal then chapter meetings, so
please take that into account when reading these minutes
Start:7:06 pm; End:7:35 pm. Present:Hannah,Charley,Sparky,brian,david,Michael,

Officers' reports:

SVP (Lizzie): National Braile Press, March1 1. 9am-5pm (or when
done). March 8th were helping with the AIDS ride. We might
be signing people up. CWII doesn't have a camp yet. Talked to
be you and there might be another happy book this term.
MVP (Michael): pledge ceremony next week on Thursday. There
will be 1-3 pledges. Open meeting the week after on Monday.
Y'all should bring prospectives this time.
AVP (Jill): Sour food almost ready. Ive made many reservations.
I have a list of reservations in the apo locker. the path is:
/mit/apo/Officers/AVP/S97/reservations.
Michael: Plain or reserved resevations?
Jill: reserved. Also several copies of the WUAPO on the wall. I'll put
how to get archived stuff in APOC. I need to update bylaws
Treasurer (Cathy): Pay your dues if you want to be active.
FC (Charley): tomorrow night black morbid day study break- Cathy
is PC. Next scheduled is March 2, PAM, needs PC. March 8th,
BBLB study break. March 9th, museum of science study break,
Richard Pcing. March 14th, evening, pizza and Shakespeare,
Jill is PC. Same night as CWII. Have PCs for steak fry. Need
for SFF
Hannah: I'm knitting
Ari: Bani's elevation next Tuesday at 8:30 PM
APOcEd (Jeffrey): nothing to report
ASC (Lauren): strting with official clean the office thing this week
PubDir (David): I put new things on the IC board and went to perl
and got brushes and paint.
Historian (Brian): I got a large package of archiving supplies. Mail
will go out next week RE: Arcomm.
Sparky: I need to talk to officers about setting up communications
between chapters and talking about conclave
John Kohl: I'm the President of the AX alumni association. We think
we should have a reception for graduation seniors and their parents.
What time is good
(discussion ensues)
John Kohl: maybe 3rd,4th,or 5th of June depending on Senior week
activities
Advisory Comm. Chair (Joe): :not present
President (Alexis): CPPC, Feb 23rd. We'll talk for a while, then
have a fellowship type thingee. We need someone to cook dinner.
Does anyone have anything they want to come up?
Jill: membership retention. Also note that whoever's cooking misses
discussion
Sparky: perhaps alumns can cook
Alexis: all new officers are clued in? (general assent). There's a
mentor list on the wall if you have questions. We should have
officer hours. Put APO on your schedule for an hour a week
(she demonstrates). Put your name on it even if you're not an
officer if you're going to be around the office.
David: Could I get blurbs of projects/fellowship events to put on board
(Charley says yes)
Alexis: Michael, any ideas for pledge class namesake?
Michael: I have a list with some ideas.
Jill: You could put the list in the locker.
Michael: Copying off previous terms isn't great. I just don't have a
better idea.
Charley: Nominations are supposed to be closed. I know lots of old
people.
Alexis: If you have any ideas, go to Michael
Jill: if you can't get to a meeting, it would be good if you emailed me
your report
