Hi all!

as you know, apo possesses a 20 megabyte locker on athena. It
contains LOTS of stuff, including multiple copies of things, archived
apocs and minutes, the database, and officer information. Much of it is
disorganized and hard to find/use. As Avp, my job is to change that,
and I'll need your help. So, this Wednesday, at 2 pm, there will be a
meeting in the office to discuss how to reorganize the locker.
my current ideas <gotten from conversations with Charley and
Oscar-thanks!> are:

1. get rid of multiple copies of things

2. put all the old apocs into tex format <some are in scribe format>
and store them on either tape or CD and then erase them from the locker

3. reorganize things so it makes sense

4. put softlinks in <cross-reference the locker>

5. put appropriate documentation <readme's and such> so that the locker
is easily used.

That is the current plan. Please come to help me implement it and come
up with other cool ideas. If you want input on the locker, come. It
would be cool to get a cross-section of the chapter...ie, people who
don't know that much about the locker still have plenty to add, and your
voice should be heard.

hope to see you there, and please RSVP to me so I know to expect you!

thanks a lot

YiLFS and organization,

Jill
