Official Presidential Opinion:
As the pledges have been told all along that Initiation would be on
Thursday, Dec 12, and they have all made their schedules such that
they can make it, it is unfair to change it now. Yes, it was a bad
day to put it on to begin with, but what was done is done, and numerous
pledges and brothers (including the incoming President and SVP) cannot
make it to the event if it is on Friday the 13th.
Therefore, the MVP wants it to stay on the 12th, and I fully support
him. He said that if people really want to have the Banquet on Friday,
it will not be coupled with the Initiation, which will remain at 5pm
on Thursday the 12th.
The arrangements to switch it were made intentionally when the MVP was
not in the room.
This is the final word, regardless of what anyone else says.
