there are a few project-type events occurring on the weekend of
thanksgiving (note- these are not directly-apo-coordinated projects,
but have the svp seal of approval)

if you will be in this area for the thanksgiving weekend, please consider
attending one of these.  the contact information is listed below.

Kitchen helpers are needed for food preparation Nov. 27, 8:30 am-7:00 pm 
and Nov. 28 10:00 am-5:00 pm.

Help prepare meals, serve and clean up on Thanksgiving Day.

Pilgrim Church, U.C.C.
540 Columbia Rd., Uphams Corner, Boston
Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, help set up and take down tables and 
decorations for community dinner.  Volunteers are also needed to help serve 
dinner, deliver to shut-ins, sort canned food, bring desserts for the meal, 
or provide entertainment for the guests!

27 Burroghs St., Jamaica Plain
Helpers are needed to serve the Thanksgiving meal, entertainers are needed 
to tell stories, play an instrument, etc, and friendly visitors are needed 
to socialize, watch parade, and share turkey with the elderly.
