Okay,
so i just got off the phone with Bill McCormick at George's Island.
Here's the scoop:
THE PROJECT
===========
We OWN three rooms of the haunted house:
1) mad scientist's lab
2) torture chamber
3) graveyard
he needs ~ 15 people to work these rooms, but more is better. come in costume.
be creative.
FOOD
====
lunch will be provided, but because it is donated, he recommended that anybody
with special dietary restrictions bring their own food. he specifically
mentioned vegetarian and kosher food as almost certainly *not* being available.
there is NO fresh water on the island. if you think you will go through
ridiculous amounts of water, try to bring a canteen or something so you can
bring a bit with you. they will have some there, but it will be for all
of the residents.
TRANSPORT
=========
we are scheduled to be on the 9am boat leaving Long Wharf in Boston. we are,
therefore meeting in the office at 7:15 am to leave by 8 am. LATECOMERS WILL
BE LEFT BEHIND!!!
he said that he could squeeze maybe 2-3 spaces on the 11 am visitors' boat
for anybody who explicitly could *not* make it to the 9am boat. anybody
who can not make the early boat, but REALLY wants to go should tell me ASAP.
I have directions to Long Wharf and can get you a copy.
