Hey,
	Wanna help out on NetDay?!?

A friend of mine who works for Sun has been architecting (is that a
word?) the network for Trotter School in Roxbury (on the Roxbury/Dorchester
line). NetDay is when a ton of schools in Massachusetts will be hooked up with
new networks and computers.

They are looking for volunteers to help. The event is actually split between
two days:
	Saturday, October 19th (this Saturday!)
   and	Saturday, October 26th
both days are from 9am to about 6pm. Food and (I believe) T-shirts for the
event will be provided. A lot of companies are sponsoring and participating.
Duties will be pulling cable, maybe knocking holes in walls, setting up
computers, etc. Should be quite a festive day!

If you are interested in helping, please email me (cdcilley@mit.edu). The
school is about a 10 minute walk from a T stop, but I'm trying to get MIT to
pay for a van or two.

If you know anyone who might be interested, or other mailing lists, please feel
free to forward this message.

Thanks,
