Minutes of Exec Comm(October 1, 1996)

Administrative  notes:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Start:  7:30 pm;  End:  9:30 pm.   Present:  Emily,  Jeffrey,  Hannah,
Richard, Ari, Lizzie, Joe, Cathy, Ingrid, John
Officers'  reports:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SVP (Alexis): Chapter Weekend I went well. Project on saturday
       and sunday. If your little's are PC'ing projects, make sure that
       they are getting done what they need to get done in advance.

AVP (Jeffrey): Things are getting updated, I will have a new WUAPO
       out soon

APOcEd (Hannah): Write articles. Poetry deadline is October 12
       at Midnight.

UMOC (Jill): We are going to send letters to living groups to get
candidates. Everything has been approved except the letter to be sent
to dorms.

Carolyn: I am overhauling the IC Board. Any Ideas?

Jill: UMOC is coming up soon. We could put up info about that.

Charley: I think UMOC is important but not worth giving the entire
       board to.

Jill: The blue and gold stuff is cool but would be better if it was redone.

Hannah: We could advertise our silkscreening and printing.

Cathy: If you intend to die, we perform CPR service.

Ingrid: (and Charley) please contact us no less than 2 weeks in ad-
       vance.

Carolyn: Maybe we could have a small re-do the IC board project.

Ingrid: If you want to have a study break, the fellowship budget will
       pay for it.

John: At the last meeting people wanted to know the status of the
       accounts. We made 223 dollars over the last few months. Sipb
       owes us money, and the total does not include Reg Day or Book
       Exchange. [AVP Note: If you would like to know the individual
       totals, contact John, as he went over this rather quickly] I don't
       have a list of actives but the number is 9. A lot of people
       probably assume that their dues are debt listed.

Ari: I would like from execcomm an opinion as to how we count
       projects for things like UMOC. I would like to tell pledges some-
       thing solid. If we allow things like UMOC to count as multiple,
       then they don't get as many projects. But on the other hand,
       some people won't make the project requirement for the term
       and some people won't work multiple shifts if they don't have
       to.
Charley: I don't think people will stop working multiple shifts if they
       don't get multiple projects. Also, brothers may not agree with
       the official execcomm decision.

Lizzie: What about limiting the number of projects they can get out
       of UMOC?

Ingrid: my pledge term I remember counting it as two only if you
       really need it as more than 1 project.

Cathy: I think we should have some say as opposed to having no idea.
       Also, having some boundary should not suggest that someone
       who only works an hour has done 1 project.

Ari: I am going to go under the opinion that it will only count as 1.

[AVP Note: A little more discussion here, but the general opinion is
that it really only counts as 1 unless necessary, but pledges shouldn't
count on it counting as more than 1]

FC (Ingrid): Hi I am hosed. We should do Steak Fry.

ASC (Lizzie): I cleaned the office. It took a long time. We discussed
       using the boxes under the message board for pledges.

Historian (Charley): I have lots of film to be processed but no money
       so I will be asking for money at the chapter meeting. Sunday at
       3PM is the first meeting of Archive Comm. Meet in the office.
       Anyone who is interested in should come.

       should fill them out. That should be part of the outgoing of-

       somewhere and is interested in coming to our projects.

Charley: She is eligible to become an associate extension member.
