Hullo, all!
So, at the last Chapter Meeting, I asked for the Chapter to form a
committee to help write an amendment to the Bylaws to create what is
tentatively called Archives Committee. This message is to solicit members
for this committee. I hope to meet on weekends, after project hours, to
generate the text of the amendment.
Our working deadline is 16 October for a fairly well revised edition.
Note that that date is about 2 weeks from now. Our first meeting is,
therefore, scheduled for Sunday 5 October at 3pm. If this is bad for you, and
you wish to be on the committee, please contact me. If you wish to be on the
committee and this does not conflict, you should also contact me.
The agenda for our Sunday meeting is as follows:
- review how the duties of the other standing committees are
described in the Bylaws
- brainstorm duties for Archives Committee
- delegate write-up, formatting, and petitioning
- set the date for the next meeting
