Early this morning, eight brothers and five prospectives gathered in the APO
Office to prepare for a walk to Central Square where Shelter Inc is located.
Although we had a bit of difficulty locating Shelter Inc. among the many
circuitous streets in Central Square, we arrived on time and met the student
contact. The thirteen of us divided into three crews to complete the tasks which
needed our attention. Alexis, Hannah, Jill and a prospective named Debbie worked
together to paint the trim around the Women's Quarters of Shelter Inc. Jonna
Anderson and fellow prospective Ted Weatherly collaborated with Ari and Harry on
the cleaning crew. As the Project Chair (PC) for today's project, I worked with
Emily, Jeffrey, Kevin and two prospectives named Susama Agarwala and Kathleen
Vokes to sort through a room full of donated clothing.

The project lasted from 10am-2:30pm with a half hour break for tuna fish
sandwiches and yummy, freshly-baked, white chocolate chip cookies provided by
the Shelter. All the tasks were completed during our four hour stay. As the
photos we took will illustrate, everyone had a fun time. Ari had his tie removed
by a woman wearing a leather glove (Susama), Jonna found "one-step" curtains,
and Jeffrey found a lot of "cool women's clothing". <Is there something we should
know, Jeffrey?> <Just kidding...I'm allowed to pick on my Big Brother>. The
project was closed with a trip to Tosci's <mmmmm>.

Thank you to all who attended.
