Okay folks! Nationals is coming up and I just wanted to tell you what the
deal was with the Lightbearer. The first issue should be done by the end
of this week. So, all WE have to worry about it getting out the next three
issues at convention.
We will be working in the "Darthmouth-Exeter" rooms on the Mezzanine floor
of the Park Plaza hotel.
Our deadlines will be at 10am on the 28th, 29th and 30th.
We will be putting out either two 4 page issues and one 8 page issue
or
two eight page issues and one 4 page issue
during this time.
(It will depend upon whether the first issue is 8 or 4 pages long. I'm
shooting for eight, to make our likes less stressful!)
What I will need people to do:
1. Write articles.
2. Solicit articles.
3. Take pictures (???Anybody out there good with a camera??? See me for
details.)
4. Type in articles, personals, ads, etc.
5. Proofread.
6. Be happy and have fun!
We will be using the 6 Macintoshes. The software we will have on the computers
will be Word and Pagemaker.
I figure we can work leisurely on the second two issues, but the first one is
going to be a pain! The reason being is that I am not getting into town until
the evening of the 27th, so do a good job procurring articles, etc. , so we can
start straight away when I get in.
I'll send out another letter stating specifically when I will be getting in,
and when our first meeting will be (it will also be posted in the Lightbearer!)
