Afterfinals/Afternationals will be held at Camp Squanto on the
weekend of January 15th. Come enjoy the splendor of New England
winter! Spend a weekend with your brothers. Come enjoy the absence
of problem sets and convention newsletters! Come take out your
frustrations with life on the appropriate part of Camp Squanto! It
will be good for you. It will be good for the scouts who use the
camp. It will be fun.
I am PCing this project; much thanks to Tracy Vogler for
finding the camp. I need a food PC, a manpower PC, and a transport
PC. If you want to learn how to run a chapter weekend, come learn
with me! Alumni who want to drive brothers to camp so badly that they
can't wait until I find a transport PC are welcome to contact me
directly. :0) Please consider the importance of this service to the
chapter if you can spare a day to work, or at least a few hours for a
shuttle run.
Brothers, particularly freshmen, please remember to bring any
sleeping bags, boots, hats, mittens, etc. you may have left at home
back with you after Christmas break. Camp Squanto tends to be a bit
mucky. Actually most parts of New England that require our service
tend to be a bit mucky in winter. Squanto is just a particularly good
example. We do work outdoors in this weather; it is a lot of fun if
you are properly dressed.
